Took some getting used to

We used to get coasters from Conde when they were under different ownership. We needed sandstone coasters to complete customer orders and decided to give the new Conde a try. The coasters were .25" larger than what we used to use, but we were ok with that. Sadly, using our setting we used for years, multiple coasters cracked during production. We finally got our production going, but at the expense of multiple broken coasters. That is why I am giving them a 4 star review. The finish was still smooth and they still absorb condensation from a glass very well.

Major problems with these coasters

These coasters are larger than the ones I used to purchase when the company was under the previous ownership. That is not a problem. What is a problem is how many crack from side to side during the pressing process, even though I follow the directions given. Yesterday, I sublimated six coasters and FOUR of them cracked. This is an unacceptable wastage which a small business cannot afford. I will not be ordering this product again.
