- Lasering Flex:
1. Place in laser so plastic is flat and level
2. Front lasering only for the engravable plastic
3. Vector cutting with adhesive back may require more power - Laser Raster settings:
35 watt DPI 400, Speed 65%, Power 35%
60 watt DPI 400, Speed 40%, Power 15% - Laser Vector settings
35 watt Speed 20%, Power 30%, Freq 500 Hz
60 watt Speed 25%, Power 30%, Freq 500 Hz
Use around 10% less vector power if backing is not to be cut - Note: If engraving large, solid areas, use a Sticky adhesive mat to counteract warping
- Tips For These Plastic Engraving Sheets:
Testing for correct marking position, laser on a test piece or tape a clear piece of plastic on, laser image to see if it is centered correctly
May need to tape on raster bed of laser so plastic lays flat, or use a Seklema mat
When vector cutting use vector bed or Seklema mat - Clean up - after lasering, clean with LAZERCLEAN or Novus #1 clean & shine
